How CraftlinkPros collects, uses, and protects information.
CraftlinkPros LLC
Effective date: June 19, 2026 Last updated: June 19, 2026
Plain-language summary (not a substitute for the full policy): CraftlinkPros builds and runs websites, local-search profiles, and lead-generation tools for trade and home-service businesses. This policy explains what we do with information when you visit craftlinkpros.com, contact us, or become a client. We also explain the different role we play when we operate a client’s website and handle the leads that come through it. We do not sell your personal information for money. If you have questions, email privacy@craftlinkpros.com.
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how CraftlinkPros LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“CraftlinkPros,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information. It applies to our website at https://craftlinkpros.com and any related subdomains, pages, forms, and online services that link to this Policy (together, the “Site”), and to the services we provide to our business clients (the “Services”).
By using the Site or the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
1. The two roles we play
It is important to understand that CraftlinkPros handles personal information in two different capacities:
A. As a business (data controller). When you visit the Site, fill out our contact form, call or message us, or sign up as a client, CraftlinkPros decides why and how your information is used. In that role we are the “controller” (or “business” under U.S. state law), and this Policy governs.
B. As a service provider (data processor) for our clients. A core part of our Services is building and operating websites, contact forms, call-tracking numbers, text-messaging tools, and lead-capture systems on behalf of our clients — for example, an HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or roofing company. When a consumer submits a request for a quote or service on a client’s website that we host or operate, we process that information on behalf of, and under the instructions of, that client. In that situation the client is the controller of the information, that client’s own privacy policy governs how the information is used, and you should direct privacy requests about that information to the client. CraftlinkPros acts only as the client’s service provider/processor and will not use that consumer information for our own purposes except as permitted by law and our agreement with the client (for example, to operate, secure, and improve the Services).
The rest of this Policy focuses on role A — what we do as a business. Sections 6 and 10 explain how the two roles interact.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us directly
- Lead and contact-form information. When you complete a form on the Site or otherwise reach out, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, trade or business type, town/service area, and any message you include.
- Client account information. If you become a client, we collect business details (business name, address, owner/contact names, service areas, licensing or trade information you choose to share), billing and payment information, and the login credentials or authorized access you grant us to manage third-party accounts on your behalf (for example, your domain registrar, Google Business Profile, advertising accounts, hosting, or social-media accounts).
- Content you provide for your website. Logos, photographs, videos, reviews, text, and other materials you submit so we can build or operate your site or campaigns.
- Communications. Records of your emails, calls, text messages, support requests, and feedback.
2.2 Information we collect automatically
When you use the Site, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect:
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring/exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, and dates/times of access.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 5.
2.3 Call and message data
- Phone calls. We use business phone and call-tracking numbers. When you call us (or call a tracked number we operate), we may collect your phone number, the date, time, and duration of the call, and, where permitted by law and with any legally required notice, a recording or transcript of the call for quality, training, record-keeping, and service purposes. Calls may be monitored or recorded; if you do not wish to be recorded, please tell us and we will accommodate reasonable requests where feasible.
- Text messages (SMS). If you opt in to text messaging — for example, through a “missed-call text-back” feature or by texting us — we collect your phone number and the content of your messages. See Section 12 for our SMS program disclosures.
2.4 Information from third parties
We may receive information about you from:
- Our clients (for example, when a client asks us to contact you or import existing customer lists);
- Service and advertising platforms such as Google (Business Profile, Google Ads, Local Services Ads), analytics providers, review platforms, and our payment processor; and
- Publicly available sources used to verify business information.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, health, or financial-account details beyond what a payment processor needs) and ask that you not send it to us through the Site.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your inquiries and provide quotes, consultations, and customer support;
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Site and the Services;
- set up, host, and manage client websites, domains, search profiles, and campaigns;
- capture and route leads, track calls, send appointment/missed-call follow-ups, and generate review requests (for clients, as described in Section 1.B);
- process payments, manage subscriptions and billing, and prevent fraud;
- send you administrative, transactional, and (where permitted) marketing communications about our own Services;
- measure and analyze Site traffic and Service performance;
- maintain the security and integrity of our systems; and
- comply with law, enforce our agreements, and protect our rights and the rights of others.
Legal bases (where applicable). Where required, we rely on your consent (e.g., marketing messages), the performance of a contract (e.g., providing Services you requested), our legitimate interests (e.g., securing and improving the Site), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. How we communicate with you
By providing your phone number or email address and submitting a form, you agree that we (and, where you are a prospective customer of one of our clients, that client) may contact you to respond to your request, including by phone, email, and — if you have opted in — text message. Consent to receive marketing calls or texts is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. You can opt out of marketing emails using the “unsubscribe” link, and out of texts by replying STOP (see Section 12).
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure traffic, and understand how the Site is used. Categories include:
- Strictly necessary cookies that make the Site work;
- Analytics cookies (for example, Google Analytics) that help us understand usage; and
- Advertising/measurement technologies that help us understand the performance of our marketing.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of certain Google analytics/advertising features at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and https://adssettings.google.com. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal; where required by law, we treat a recognized GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of “sale”/“sharing” for that browser.
6. How we share information
We share personal information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information for money.
- With our clients. When you submit a request on a client’s website or campaign that we operate, we deliver that information to the relevant client so they can respond to you. That is the purpose of the submission.
- Service providers / subprocessors. We share information with vendors who perform services for us, under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing those services. These include web hosting and infrastructure providers (for example, IONOS), analytics providers (for example, Google), our payment processor, customer-relationship and email/SMS messaging providers, call-tracking and telephony providers, and any AI chat/receptionist provider we use.
- Advertising and search platforms. To run client campaigns and our own marketing, we work with platforms such as Google (Business Profile, Ads, Local Services Ads). These platforms have their own privacy policies.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests and legal process, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of CraftlinkPros, our clients, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
- With your direction or consent. We share information at your direction or with your consent.
“Sale” and “sharing” under U.S. state laws
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. Some state privacy laws define “sale” and “sharing” broadly to include certain uses of advertising/analytics cookies. To the extent any such activity is considered a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable law, you may opt out as described in Section 10 (including by using a recognized Global Privacy Control signal).
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the reason we hold it. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it. Information we process on behalf of a client is retained according to our agreement with that client and their instructions.
8. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and destruction, including measures such as encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s privacy
The Site and Services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 (or under 13 within the meaning of the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding personal information that we control:
- Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete personal information;
- Portability — receive a copy in a portable format;
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of certain targeted advertising;
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive information for purposes that require this option); and
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
How to exercise your rights
Email privacy@craftlinkpros.com or write to us at the address in Section 14, with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will verify your request (which may require confirming information we already hold) before acting on it. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; we will respond as required by law.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
In the prior 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information (as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act): identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address); customer records (business and billing information); commercial information (services purchased or inquired about); internet/network activity (usage and analytics data); geolocation (general, from IP); audio information (call recordings); and inferences drawn from the above. We collect this information from the sources, and use and disclose it for the purposes, described in Sections 2, 3, and 6. We do not sell personal information and do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of minors under 16. California residents may exercise the rights above and designate an authorized agent.
Other U.S. state residents
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and others as they take effect) may exercise the applicable rights listed above, including the right to appeal a denied request.
Consumers contacting our clients
If your request concerns information you submitted to a client’s website or campaign that we operate (role 1.B), the client is the controller of that information. We will refer your request to the relevant client and assist them as their service provider, or direct you to contact the client.
11. Third-party sites and services
The Site and client sites may link to or integrate third-party websites and services (for example, Google, social platforms, payment pages, and mapping/booking tools). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. Review their privacy policies before providing information.
12. SMS / text-messaging program disclosures
If you opt in to receive text messages from CraftlinkPros (or from a client using tools we provide):
- Consent: By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring text messages related to your inquiry, account, or services. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time to stop messages. Help: reply HELP or contact privacy@craftlinkpros.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing.
13. International users
CraftlinkPros operates in the United States, and our systems and service providers are located in the United States. If you access the Site or Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
14. Changes to this Policy and how to contact us
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required. Your continued use of the Site or Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
